The LANGBRETT turtleneck, made from 100% kbT virgin wool, keeps you warm, regulates moisture and has been a reliable companion on colder days for years. We’ve been producing it locally for over 15 years – just 20 minutes from our shop. The sturdy knit, timeless cut and zip-up turtleneck make it a durable companion for everyday wear, hiking and the great outdoors.

Knitwear requires little care, but it does need to be treated properly. Merino wool is often self-cleaning, so in many cases it is enough simply to air the jumper out thoroughly after wearing it. If washing is necessary, it should be washed by hand or on the machine’s wool cycle. It is important to then leave the garment to dry flat in the open air so that it retains its shape. Avoid heat, friction and leaving it hanging for long periods – this will ensure the knitwear remains soft, retains its shape and can be worn for many years to come.

Wool is a natural, durable raw material that regulates heat and is self-cleaning. Our wool comes from certified organic livestock farming, where the animals are kept in a manner appropriate to their species and are not mulesed. The fibres are soft, breathable and free from harmful chemicals. The result is knitwear that is comfortable to wear and will last for many years.

Our knitwear is produced at a single knitting factory in the Lower Rhine region of Germany. There, we know the people, the machines and every stage of the production process. Communication lines are short, processes are transparent and we work closely with our partners. This means we know exactly how each item is made and can vouch for the quality and origin of our products.
