Knitwear requires little care, but it does need to be treated properly. Merino wool is often self-cleaning, so in many cases it is enough simply to air the jumper out thoroughly after wearing it. If washing is necessary, it should be washed by hand or on the machine’s wool cycle. It is important to then leave the garment to dry flat in the open air so that it retains its shape. Avoid heat, friction and leaving it hanging for long periods – this will ensure the knitwear remains soft, retains its shape and can be worn for many years to come.
